Our last litter

Our Pupcake gave birth to three very healthy puppies (two males and one female) on Easter Sunday,  April 5, 2015.  This was her smallest litter and Mama really needs a break so we have decided this will also be her last litter. It has been so much fun watching these little guys grow.  How fortunate are we to get to keep these puppies in our home for the first nine weeks of their lives?  Fun but quite exhausting. We pride ourselves on the fact that our puppies are raised strictly indoors.  They get so much love in our home and we are hoping to find them homes that will suit each of their personalities perfectly. If you are interested in possibly being a forever home, If you are interested in possibly being a forever home, we would love to hear from you and about you!

A house without puppies

Is a quiet house... Raider went to his forever home today.  He is with a great couple who will have plenty of time to be active and give him the attention he needs.  It's always sad seeing the last puppy go but I know he has found the perfect home.  I can't wait to see what the future has in store for these puppies.

He is loved!

I am really feeling all the love tonight after discovering the dozens of messages that went to my "spam" box about this guy.  I have just spent the last two hours replying to all of the messages that I missed.  It turns out that Raider is really loved after all!
Here are a couple of recent pictures of the cute little guy :) I just know that we will find the perfect home for him.

We have one puppy still looking for his family

All of the puppies have been with their new owners for a week now. I have gotten lots of great feedback about their loving, and playful nature. It's nothing new to me. I spent the first 8 weeks of their lives with them. I fed them and made sure they stayed warm until the wee hours of the night. I loved them all as if I would be keeping them forever. Potty training them is one of the most difficult tasks but is well worth it when I find out how quickly they caught on in their new environment.
Every day that goes by Raider (our lone puppy) gets more and more attached to the kids and they get more attached to him. He is often the first to greet anyone who walks in our door. He is also usually the first one people look for when they visit us. He has the best temperament, he love to just hang out with us. Right now his favorite toys are socks fresh from the wash. He has a hiding spot where he puts his little stash. He's quite the clever little character and he really, really needs a home. Not just any home! He needs a home where he will get the same cuddles, love, play time and interaction that he gets with us.

Puppy #1 has found his new home

and his new home has found themselves a puppy.  In one month he will be leaving us. It makes us a little sad but we couldn't possibly keep all of our puppies. Finding them a great home is the next best thing. Here is a shot of the happy little puppy after he got to visit with his new owners.
He is cuddling one of the kids right now for his nap while his brother is laying on me. We are all trying to get in as much cuddling as possible before they leave. Here is a cute little picture of puppy number 5 (who is still available) taking a nap on top of me.
Isn't he the sweetest! As I'm writing this he made his way up to my shoulder. It's an extreme close up but it is exactly what I'm looking at right now.

Finally walking!

Puppies 3 and 4 found their new family when they were only 2 weeks old.  I am so thrilled that they will be staying together! Even more thrilled that their new parents love to come and visit with them.
Puppies1, 2 and 5 are still available for adoption.
All puppies are officially walking but are still a little bit shaky. They're getting the hang of it slowly but surely.  Ears are finally opened and teeth are starting to sprout.  None of the teeth have come out yet but are just about ready to break through they're gums.
For those of you wondering if the puppies are being crate trained the answer is no. I do not crate train puppies because I don't feel like they should be confined to a small cage. They all live together in a playpen where they have a comfy place to play and sleep on one side and potty pads on another. This is also the first step of potty training.  I will put up another post soon about that. Until then, I leave you with a small clip of puppy number 1 walking.

Five little puppies scooting around

We’ve been busy with 5 little puppies and a family and have had little time to update. Some pretty special things are going on right now in our household. The puppies have had a few firsts. This past Thursday they all began to open their eyes and by Friday morning their eyes were completely open. They puppies are all still scooting along with the exception of puppy #1 who showed off his sprinting skills this morning. He got to his mama for feeding time in lightning speed. No doubt he will be the first to walk. Pretty soon we will have some puppies running around and the fun really begins.
Here are some pictures of the puppies, their birth order and a little weight chart so you can see where they all are.
