Puppies at their first Dr's Appointment

The Puppies at 2-Weeks Old for their wellness examination and deworm treatment with Dr. Stubachaer at Princevalle Pet Hospital on 9/21/12. She said they were "as healthy as can be", they will be going back to see Dr. Stubachaer at 8-Weeks for their first round of shots. Documentation is available upon request, if you are interested in seeing. :)

Two sweet little Bostons...

Here are two of our seven pups at 4 days old. The others have big milk bellies and would not fit in the tea cup. Right now we only go by color to identify them.  They each have a name picked out but we are holding off on naming them until we get to see what their personalities are like. 

Above is our lime green pup. When this picture was taken she weighed 7.9 oz. 

Below is our gold pup she weighed 8.7 oz in this picture. 

When these were taken we had one more that could fit in the tea cup but she was feeding and I didn't have the heart to pull her away from her mama. 

These little girls are so much fun and a lot of work! For the first 2 weeks of their lives I slept right next to them to be sure their heating pad was on at all times, making sure the bedding was clean and mama didn't fall asleep on them and making sure their two bigger sisters were not hogging all the milk.

About us

Family of 7, Dad, Mom, 3 wonderful kids and 2 very lovable bostons. We are located in Northern California and have been proud Boston Terrier parents for 9 years. We have been fortunate enough to have 3 Boston Terriers in our family.  Unfortunately one passed a year and a half ago but she will always be with us a she has left a "paw print" in our home. We currently have 2 Boston Terriers in our family and they own our hearts.  Rockstar (sire)  and Pupcake (dam) are expecting their very first litter.  We have never bred any of our dogs before as we know it takes a great deal  of time and dedication.  We finally decided to breed our dogs for the first time because we are fortunate enough to have the time and resources available to assure Rockstar, Pupcake and their puppies get the best care. We have not gone into this blindly and have done much research before deciding to breed.  Our dam is in her last days of pregnancy and is expected to whelp any day now. At her last veterinary check up on 8/29 we did an X-ray to see how many pups to expect and to make sure that there would not be any complications with the size of the pups during whelping.   We are happy to announce that we are expecting a litter of 6 possibly 7 pups.  Here is our girl right before her vet visit.
